Introduce yourself to the Campus Reps community here...
Welcome to all of our Mozilla Campus Reps! There has been a flood of emails on the campusreps-all@mozilla.com mailing list, so instead of spamming that list, let's use this thread to share more about ourselves with the rest of the network!
I'll start:
I'm Jay Patel, your Mozilla Campus Reps coordinator... and I work at Mozilla Corporation in Mountain View, CA! I've been working with Mozilla since it was a small project within Netscape back in 1999... and have watched our community grow and the browser evolve into the Firefox 3 we all use today! I've worked on crash analysis & reporting, general qa and tools development, project management, community leadership, and now marketing... so I've had a chance to wear many hats at Mozilla over the years. :-)
I work full-time, but also go to business school at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley... I'm in the evening program and should be done in 2010. So I'm a student like most of you! ;-)
That's all I have for now... please feel free to share as little or as much as you feel comfortable here so that other Reps can get to know you. Thanks!
- Jay

<strong>Hi! My name is Jozef (Joseph)</strong>
Hello everyone I am Joseph Rey Sator a junior college student currently studying at the University of the Immaculate Conception here in the Philippines taking up Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. My degree is basically focuses on general topics within reach by information technology or what we so called "computer generation". At school I was mostly found at the four corners of the lobby together with my classmates talking about what's the latest hip in all major scenes in IT (this should include hardware and software, computer networking and computer programming). Apparently, I've engaged a lot of doing project like cabling (internet lounge, sometimes on small business), software development using (Java, ColdFusion, C#, and C++). I usually spend my whole time surfing the internet with respect to such programming languages in order for me to extend my knowledge and some how revise my codes according to standards. Actually, I do love FF for about 5 years now after my disgraceful experience with Opera and IE (peace! ^_^). And so today I signed up helping out to reach FF on various computer systems here in the Philippines mostly in Davao City.

Hello, my name is Tom Nijns
Hello everyone, my name is Tom Nijns. I'm 25 years old and work as teacher and ICT-coordinator in a school somewhere in the flemish region of Belgium. I teach IT-related courses to students with ages 15-16 and 18-19. I'm a fierce linux user and try to spread and educate people (also outside my school) as much as possible about open-source software and why and how it can make their world a better and sometimes cheaper place. In my free time I like to design, build and host websites. I'm also into dancing and painting. I'm a very busy person, trying to make a small difference from time to time in litlle steps. F.e. recently we developped a new webbased gradebook for our teachers and we're only supporting IE7, FF2 and FF3. Since a lot of our teachers are still using IE6 or even older, we encourage them to install FF3. This gives us the opportunity to tell them about the other advantages besides better and faster browse-experience.

HI! My name is ShermDawg
Greetings and Salutations,
They call me ShermDawg and I first came in contact with Mozilla about a year ago. I am a 58 year-old Information Technology student at the University of Phoenix; Jersey City Campus.
I love the browser and I rarely use any other. I have tried to spread the word, and I believe I have been very successful. My professors are also fans of Firefox, so things have worked themselves out. I am looking forward to maintaining contact with other reps and learning new things.
Feel free to contact me at; SGlasco1420@gmail.com I will be looking forward to hearing from you.
Be good to yourself!!!!!!!
ShermDawg
Hey!
I'll start:
I'm Andy Dudynsky, I go to school in South Jersey, and love Mozilla! I first started using it in order to view specific files types and streaming video, and have been hooked ever since.
I currently coach the professional Halo 3 team Final Boss. Google us if you've never heard about Major League Gaming, or hit up MLGpro.com. I'll be in Vegas next weekend competing for a $100,000 first place, should be awesome.
Otherwise, I love to snowboard, play ultimate, paintball, hockey, and all types of media. I'm tight with a lot of Red Bull and Oakley Reps, and the job is something I'd really like to get involved in, especially with a company like Mozilla.

Hi -- No body fear! Sriram is here :)
Hello Everyone!
I am Sriram Narasimhan. I am a technical enthusiast with intentions to share what i know with others. I appreciate technology and that is probably the reason why i am here. I like Firefox for many reasons and I feel that it is my duty to evangelize the same to the community.
I am a community person and I have been doing academic level technical evangelism for the past two years. Spreading firefox and openness is something new to me. I shall bring out the best out of me. I am a serious blogger.. You can check my blog at
http://sriramnh.spaces.live.com
Thats it as of now.. Will sync up soon :)
Its Me. Ranjan, a technologist from India
I call myself a technologist, for its the closest word I have found for myself. I can play a little with web pages, design php ones, and have been into professional web designing for quite a while. Firefox had been my home for a long time when we talk about breathing on internet. Am here to find people who can somehow relate their lives with me.
Let me know if there is a certain way I can contribute for something. Thx.
Hey everyone, Aaron
I'm a Pharmacy Major at the University at Buffalo.

Hello
I am Rachel Bennett, attending Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, USA. At this university, Firefox 3 is installed on all STC (Student Technology Centers), RTC (Residence Technology Centers), and Infostation computers, on both Windows and Macintosh builds [321 computers altogether]. Also, open source software is present alongside many commercial programs (for example, OpenOffice is provided along with the Microsoft Office Suite).
The question I've run into from here is, "What next?" The next step for me has been targeting the students themselves; after all, only a small portion of the student body regularly uses the IU computer labs. I have already distributed roughly one hundred brochures, flyers, and small posters promoting Mozilla products (about 80) and open source ideas (about 20).

Hey guys! Glad I'm a part of the Campus Reps group, even though I missed registration for this go around... I'm a Computer Information Systems student at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX. I also have a job in the IT department here as a Student Technician. I've been into computers and stuff ever since I got into playing Command & Conquer and MechWarrior on my family's first home computer. I graduated in 2006 from Georgetown High School in Georgetown, TX. I've been involved in the Boy Scouts of America from age five and I am an Eagle Scout Class of 2005. I began to be interested in FOSS when my friend booted up a Live CD of Ubuntu Linux ("Dapper Drake", I think...) at his house. He taught me a lot about Linux and FOSS. That was about a year and a half ago, and now I'm hooked on it! I'm very excited about spreading the good news of Firefox and FOSS on my campus and in my community. General computer knowledge seems like it is missing from this environment (we're primarily an Ag school) and I really think we could benefit from Firefox and other FOSS greatly. Looking forward to working and hanging out with everyone! AMSB

Hello to all from South East England!
Okay, so I have taken my time in getting round to introducing myself but now that I finally am lets make it a good one.
My name is William but you can call me Bill for short. I live in the South East of England in good old Sussex. I am a web developer and a graphics designer. On top of this I am also a radio DJ/host at my college. I have been a big fan of Mozilla since they released the Mozilla Suit.
I am a writer for an up-and-coming tech site called Technoish.com and I also have my own site at BrinkhurstDesign.co.uk which is my business.
Other than that I am a dream of big dreams that I nearly always make a reality so keep you eyes peeled for some of my amazing and ingenious plans, but, till I can confirm my latest plan here is one I carried out recently and, got into a lot of trouble for.
A while ago you may remember a Mozilla Project called "Operation Firefox". Well I couldn't take part at the time so I went out and got a giant Firefox poster made up, I then climbed up to the top of the highest tower (which was of limits) and stuck this poster to the outside of this tower. Now it wouldn't have been such a problem but this tower was part of Lewes Castle which is a historical monument. I was ordered to take down the poster and to clean up the local area for the rest of the week.
Well this time my plan will not get me into trouble but it is still stupidly large. I think that it my just work however.
Well that's me. Enjoy your time as a Campus Rep all.
William Out!

Hello from MD and The Heights School
Hi all!
My name is Michael Moubarek and I am a high school junior at The Heights School in Potomac, MD.

Hello from Maryland
Hello everyone, my name is Howard. I'm studying for my BS in Electonics Engineering Technology at Capitol College in Laurel, Maryland. I also have an AAS in Computer Programming. I like to hike, climb, bike, and be outside and active whenever I can. When I'm not outside or in class, I spend the rest of my time on my computer.
I've only had an intro to web design class, but I've taught myself everything else about web design and web programming. Whenever I have the time I like teaching myself something new. I've been a webmaster for a videography company called After Five Producations Inc. I've also been a technical consultant and computer science tutor for Hagerstown Community College in western Maryland.

I've become very interested in promoting open source software, mostly because I'm a college student with limited funding. Firefox is an easy app to promote because it sells itself. All you have to do is have someone give it a shot and they're hooked, no questions asked. And when you mention just a few of the things Firefox does naturally (especially when compared with IE) they're all for it! ;-)
Firefox. Good for you. Better for your browsing experience.
From chicago
Hey, I go by Mo. I'm a Biochemistry/Molecular Biology major but I love computers, programming, and design. Hope to spread firefox across campus.

Hello everyone!
My name is Ben I am best known for my Firefox CSS contributions, which may be found here: http://userstyles.org/users/7858 I am from Canada. __________ -=Ben=-
Great Work!
I was just going through all of your styles on your user page on userstyles.org last night. You have a great collection. I probably have ten or more in my Stylish manager. I have a need for unique settings due to a visual impairment and your styles are really helping me out because I'm able to customize your styles and apply them to just the areas that I want to without having to use a global accessibility theme that can really take up a lot of interface and screen space, plus I can easily toggle them on and off. Thanks.

Hey, my name is Will!
Hey guys and girls, My name is Will and I'm currently a freshman studying networking technology at St. Clair College Windsor campus. I am really looking forward to spreading Firefox amongst my fellow students (and some of the teachers). I am also looking forward to working closely with the community and my friends to help everyone "see the light". I also run a small business in Chatham, PC A La Mode we build and fix custom gaming PC's. We also preload operating systems and software. Every machine that we build comes preinstalled with the latest version of Firefox and Thunderbird. I wish Mozilla had their own operating system like Linux. Thank you for giving me a chance to ramble on and on that note I will finish this literary roller coaster ride.
Hello from Florida
Hey!
My name's Jameson from the Space Coast. I'm currently a senior studying mechanical engineering at Florida Institute of Technology. I generally like to do mechanism design and modeling, and some programming as well. I also like to spend a lot of time on Wikipedia ([[en:User:Jamesontai]]).
I've been a Campus Rep since the program began and I've been spreading the good word of Firefox, in fact the majority of our students use Firefox. I like to hold LAN parties where I give away swag for Firefox awareness, as well as spreading the word during non-official freshman orientation-related activities. (My university does not allow corporations or organizations who are not cleared with the university to host advertising-related functions in general unless there is another student organization event in which Mozilla may sponsor, i.e.: LAN parties, campus events, etc.)
It's nice to see a thread here instead of 34 new mail in my inbox :D If you're on Facebook, LinkedIn, or Wikipedia, please drop me a line. I enjoy networking with fellow wikipedians online, as well as {{IRC|#wikipedia-en}}.

Hello from England! :)
Hello all,
I am Matthew I am orginally from London but I am studying at Oxford Brookes University. I'm currently studying Motorsport Technology.
I like graphics and design, reading engineering drawings, working with cars, programming all things mechanical and much more :)
I run a webhost and hope to run a business in some area of Motorsport in the future.
I've just started out as a campus rep. I am trying to learn as much as I can and provide as much assistance to people who want to make the switch on my campus.
Firefox has already been taken up well at my university. However there are some students who don't know much about it. I want to educate and show people there is another option.
I look forward to talking to you all :)
Thanks

Hey guys, my name is Tom
Hey guys, my name is Tom Maaswinkel, but better known to most people as TheDevilOnLine. Currently I'm studying International Game Architecture and Design at the international university NHTV in Breda, the Netherlands. In my spare time, I'm doing a lot of things, some of the things I do are: Sailing, Cycling, playing/creating/testing games and programming (websites, games, software, mozilla, whatever).
I also run 2 companies: 1 specialised in the Testing of Games and one specialise in the Mediawiki software (the software that's mostly referred to when referring to a wiki, since sites like Wikipedia use it). And if that isn't enough, I also like to go to these big (BYOC) Lan-parties, where most of the time, I'm a competitions admin (just as on a big european e-sport competitions website).
In my holidays I'm working most of the time (last summer I worked at Electronic Arts for 2 months) and because I work somewhere else, I learn a lot and get a lot of connections. I'm currently using these connections to help to promote Firefox as much as I can :-)
