Firefox Campus @ Universida de Lima - Perú
Well the last thursday i organized a campus party in my university. It was very good and the people show interest in know more from Firefox. Some of them told me that they use Firefox and they are satisfied with the browser. My friend and i put some hip-hop in the show and some groups play music, also a girl made stand-up comedy.

Spread Firefox campaign! @ Hyderabad
Hola fellow campus reps! Just done with a spread firefox campaign at my college... Gave a presentation, took a lot of pictures and videos. Not to forget, the mozilla goodies that I distributed brought smiles on many faces. Through the presentation I was able to get the people to understand the importance of Open source software and the mozilla project. It was a lot of fun...especially the video survey....people just cudnt stop talkin bout the features of firefox.
Would love to hear from more reps about their events and would be glad to join you for the event in case its yet to be conducted. -Sireesh

Preception vs Facts
hello every one, I conducted an Awareness program about Firefox in our college named Perceptions vs Facts on oct 7th 2008 , What i primarily did was 1, conducted a survey among students in college (which browser they use). Then gave them the stuffs mozilla gave ,in my survey i found out of 250 students i surveyed many was not aware of importance of a secure browser, they just kept using Ie as they are used in that. what i primarily did was i, explained them the primary advantage of firefox gave them the link http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/features/,,many of them understood the importance and features that Firefox provide.any way most them were not concerned about security ,but addons and easy customization were what they got interested in, An comparison was also conducted using Ie And FF

Software Freedom Day 08
Hi Everyone!!!! We have celebrated the Software Freedom Day 08 here in Bahía Blanca, Argentina on September 21st, and it was awesome. We decided to do a different event this time, focussing towards non-techies, trying to told people how great Free Sofware is and how to use it in their benefit, and also speaking about freedom (because that is all about, of course!). In Argentina we are used to celebrate the arrival of Spring season (here it is the warmer season), so almost everyone in my city goes to the beach. So..., we went to the beach too!!!! Despite that the package didn't arrive on time for the event, we could manage without it and explained the benefits of using FLOSS, and particulary Firefox of course!! A good response was that almost everyone recognized my firefox pin (i have one of those from last JRSL08 in Buenos Aires). Please, see for yourselves!: http://gallery.bblug.usla.org.ar/v/sfd2008/ Also, there is some more information of the event in our wiki: http://wiki.bblug.usla.org.ar/doku.php?id=bblug:sfd2008
Similar Situation
I also requested a swag pack for SFD at Clarkson Univeristy, but it didn't arrive on time. Due to that (and a variety of other issues), things didn't go quite as planned, but a variety of members of the Clarkson Open Source Institute got together and celebrated free software. Regrettably we didn't take any pictures, but a camera is on the list for our next event!
I started doing this way
I started doing this way before I decided to join...like instaling mozila on all the pcs in my hy school and collage...publicity...a lot of stuff...Im very happy to be here...I love firefox and Ill spread it everywhere!
