Major improvements in the works at Spread Firefox! The original site was a landing pad for hundreds - thousands! - of amazing ideas for spreading the word about Firefox. We appreciate all of the time and thought that has gone into these efforts over the years, and we are now poised to organize your ideas in a far more effective way. Previously, great ideas got lost in the river of forum posts, blog posts, and news items. We hope that this new format will capture and elevate them to the masses.

As stated on the front page, we're now organizing our efforts around specific project pages to emphasize this site's collaborative potential. The primary outlet will be the creation of groups (projects). Creating a group on Spread Firefox is easy, and the page allows you to state your project, attract members, launch your efforts, and showcase the results. Groups will appear first on the river of news "What People are Talking About." After that, they will be vetted by SFX Team members and possibly appear in the "Official Projects" section. If your project has enough momentum it will invariably rise to the top!

Follow the steps below to create your group:

1. Create a group - From the top navigation, click on Create General Content > Groups.

2. Add a title, description, and body text for the group.

3. Set subscription, comment, and signup settings.

4. Attach relevant files and publish your group! From there your project will appear on Spread Firefox under "What People are Talking About"

Answer.) Login your account on the top menu go to My Stuff click My groups Click on right side click the group you want to unsubscribe from Manage "my subscription" then Unsubscribe from this group

Question.) What if I don't want to receive emails Email notification: Your personal profile is configured to: Always receive email notifications. Change to Your personal profile is configured to: Never receive email notifications.

Answer.) Login your account top menu go to My Stuff then My Account Click edit and change Receive e-mail for unread messages: to: Never receive email notifications.
