i havent earned anything yet
its like 3 days from my join in.. and i ahve just 6 points yet......hahaha
well i heard somewhere that firefox gives a dollar ($1). to u if someone downloads firefox from ur site .. is dat true ?????????
one rule
Only if you're at least semi-literate.
I'm for limited edition
I'm for limited edition t-shirts, t-shirts in general are great.
Teasing
It's a common question, and always dodged. Except by people who actually do the work and earn the points, they have suggestions. The tease comes in when you can find on your "account" page that you can "earn points". But they don't tell us how many, for what, etc. I'm still waiting to find out how you earn the blasted things in the first place. If I could have my Fortune 500 company converted to Firefox, would I get one lousy point? A free T-shirt?
Currently
Let me start by saying, that points are currently mostly bragging rights and feel good points. So for example I have 60,901 points today and you can generally find me in the top-15 on the weekly affiliates page, and I can brag about that to you. But actually for me it's more that I derive some sort of pleasure from knowing that thousands of people all over the world are using Firefox right now thanks to me!
For me personally that is a big reward already, and I believe we all benefit from more people using Firefox, for example it has given a real boost to W3C standards being used by more and more websites and even IE has come round to implementing them better thanks to the pressure from Firefox. This benefits every webmaster out there (including me). So I think it's only natural to want to promote Firefox for the greater good of the Internet.
Of course it would be nice to have some more tangible rewards, some contests and things like that. And as Jeremy and David point out below, there are some plans for changes in that area.

I don't think so, But i hope
I don't think so, But i hope a feature will be implemented.
Teasing
It would be helpful if they took the bugs out of SpreadFirefox. It takes some of my faith out of the product when this site is so fouled up. I say that because I just posted a comment that disappeared — again.
We're teased because it says on the Accounts page (or somewhere) about "prizes", and the sign-up asks your shirt size. Well, if the darn things are worthless, those are teases. Don't lie to me, Mozilla.
Other ideas here about how to use the points are good, but they don't come from "management", they come from those of us on the street, so to speak.
Affiliate program points
Definitely want to echo what Jeremy posted here. We are actively looking at ways we can improve this program and hope to implement a lot of improvements around the time of Firefox 3 (if not before) and would love any thoughts and ideas around what you all would feel would be a better prizes and awards for points. T-shirts? Other schwag? Mozilla Store gift certificates? Please post your thoughts and ideas!
Another idea
Well, here's another product that might encourage evangelism - lava lamps with a Mozilla logo. College students would especially like to have something along those lines. Currently, lamps can be purchased at the cost of a normal t-shirt, so this should be a feasible award.

Not yet
Some people have brought up a few ideas here, such as awarding people with free t-shirts. Hopefully an incentive program will be ready when Firefox 3 comes out of beta. In the meantime, it's good that you're trying to restart this discussion on how to better use points to motivate the community.
I'd personally like some limited edition items. An inexpensive t-shirt that is only available for active SpreadFirefox members would make me feel special, and be a great way to further show off our support for Mozilla.
