50 ways to get involved with the free, open and secure web browser: Free at Last !
Just some sugestions in regard to the above discussion.
In regards to 'Around the World', maybe some emphasis needs to be placed on the localisation of firefox, I think a local copy is avaiable just about everywhere, this must be an aspect that needs to be promotoed - you are not stricted to english, it is available in many different languages.
In regards to 'Free at Last', let us emphasise the fact that Firefox is free, it is free use use, free to distribute, free to everything. So maybe 'Free your Browsing' or 'Unleash the Web' (take the control away from M$)
I am very happy with both Firefox and Thunderbird and promote them when I can. The amount of posts that I have seen in support of Firefox is amazing, I have never encountered so many posts on one topic.
"Around the Word" I was trying to keep it short like the "Take back the internet" one. I assumed that was the idea. I think it says a lot... "Around the Word" (wide web), or around the word in general as no matter where you access the net from. I'm pretty sure that firefox is the number one browser for linux & probably windows too. I like Social Profit's design & also think that would be a perfect size to be shown on millions of social networking user profiles.
Well I'm a newcomer so I'm not very familiar with the stuff you do here. I'd really appreciate some explanation, so I can contribute better.
"Around the Word" says nothing to me... and I think it'll tell even less to those who don't use Firefox. If it's "Around the World", then it's too wide and general.
God bless you all

Zelus et Radix, I didn't make the comment "Around the World", and I agree with you...it says nothing.
I've been using Foxfire almost since its inception, and I've found it to be the most reliable browser out there. I'm incredibly picky, I wouldn't have stayed with Foxfire if it didn't deliver a better experience than I.E., or Opera, or whatever else I've tried and abandoned.
I think what the person who suggested "Around the World" meant was that Foxfire is available worldwide; has the capability to be used anywhere you and your computer happen to be.
Thanks diz.
Well, I understand what did DMZ meant by "Around the World", but can't most browsers be used anywhere too? (AFAIK)
My question is about general explanation, I mean, what do you exactly do here in this group and what are those catchphrases for. I really like Firefox, it's the lightiest, coolest, safest, most customizable, whatever a browser needs, so I'd like to contribute as well but firs I need to get the context.
Thanks for your explanation, Sandeep Kumar Bahri, but again, I'm not talking about "Around the Word" anymore. I'm asking for explanation, and by "explanation" I mean explanation of what is done here and what are those catchphrases I've read for. Please somebody give me a brief.
First, it's been done, and would sound like a tacky way to be trendy. Second, "free at last" implies that it hasn't been free before, and there must be some kind of hidden costs in this one.
Editing this because I can't delete it. The browser "hung" and gave an error, so I sent it again. At least now you don't have to read the same thing again.
'Around the World' and 'Free at Last'

Why my comments keep repeating so much?
How about...
How about, as a catch phrase: "Around The Word" Thinking of it like a reply to the "Take Back The Net" one.
