1024x768

I don't know exact stats of sfx visitors, but I think that 1024 horizontal resolution is for more than 50% users (including me, though I have 1280 vertical :) ). Using site with this resolution is poor experience. You can't see everything without horizontal scrolling. Specially on home page. And in 90% of cases it is due to position of logo and header art, which can be fixed, I guess. Original sfx was perfectly scaling with resolution (as all Mozilla sites do), and this is somewhat unpleasant change.

Text Size / Usability

The site needs to be a lot more flexible. Increase the text size a few times with [Ctrl] + [+].

Although the main content scales fairly well at the moment, the header/navigation easily breaks. This isn't too great for users who have text size set higher than the default. One 'rule of thumb' that helps to avoid this is to not set heights on divs/elements. This is a good guideline that would go part way to improving the usability of the site.

1024 is the design spec.

We're shooting for 1024 minimum width.

OK, I hope that it means it

OK, I hope that it means it will be fixed over time.
