"Late" submissions for the FF3 T-Shirt contest
I'm trying to get a response from someone "in the know" about the design contest - or more specifically, someone who has the power to push an exception clause through to allow for the submission of entries which were not late. I submitted my entry on time but didn't discover until too late that merely tagging it would not qualify it for submission. To my dismay, I discovered minutes after the deadline that one needed to click on the photo itself and then submit it to the contest group using one of the newly appeared links above the picture of the entry. Is there anyone who can help?

I found it very complicated
I found it very complicated and due to this reason, my t-shirt is in the image pool but in the larger image pool, does my t-shirt count?
Re: Late submissions
Hey guys
I'm not sure how much good news I have regarding this issue... I understand its frustrating and disappointing to have missed the deadline by mere minutes..hours.. or due to technical difficulties. It definitely happens so I'm sorry to hear of this. I'd hate to have any submissions not represented in the image-pool, but at the same time we must place a 'final' deadline somewhere and close off the submissions in order to make it fair for the rest of the participants, and to adhere to the established rules. I will check with my team and see if there is anything else we can do to accommodate, but I can't guarantee much at this point. There seems to be another Flickr group with a similar name to the official one, accepting late/lost submissions for the contest. That might be an alternative way to have your designs get some visibility.. I'd certainly love to see them.
Sorry again! Will keep you posted if I'm able to help any other way.

Thanks for the response T.
Thanks for the response T. It eases the sting even to hear that someone at the Mozilla team is at least checking into the possibility. I'd like to put in one more plug for acceptance. So far only a handful of people are uploading their pictures to this new late acceptance group. I realize that, on the one hand, that the fact that there are so few asking for mercy doesn't really help our case (dozens or hundreds crying "foul" and clamoring for late admission acceptance would probably merit a second look at the clarity of the submission guidelines, whereas the cries of a few tends to point to an error on the part of those few - something which most seemed to avoid). On the other hand, because there are so few, if you were to accept a handful, it doesn't seem as if you'd be opening the floodgates for new entries. Speaking for myself, my design has been loaded and unedited on Flickr since the 16th. Anyway, thanks again for your consideration. Much appreciated.

Aye. I'm in the same boat as
Aye. I'm in the same boat as you. I even has the statistic evidence that my entry was uploaded before the deadline.
