Estamos emocionados porque Mozilla sera uno de los patrocinadores del FLISOL MTY 2008, estaremos promocionando los productos de Mozilla asi como tambien el navegador Firefox, como el mejor y mas seguro navegador de internet.
Estaremos platicando sobre las caracteristicas de Firefox en cuanto a la seguridad y la importancia que tiene navegar seguro por internet.
El evento sera el 26 de Abril en la UR de Monterrey Mexico, como parte del FLISOL.

Here my review.- Me and my
Here my review.-
Me and my cousin arrived at 8:00 AM at UR campus, there we met Jorge Abduallah who was one of the orginizers, we prepared the stickers to put them in some great visual place, so we sticked the big Firefox Logo in a big window at then entrance of the event's building.
We prepared our stand with a table and we sticked the other stickers over the table and put the Mozilla stuff over the table too, the event register was at 8:30 AM, people stared arrive around 9:00 AM and the first thing that they looked was our stand with Mozilla Firefox Stuff !
The only requirement that we ask to take some souvenir was that they have to use Firefox always and Spread it a lot hehe :)
The evet was focus on security, i don't have much opportunity to listen all the conferences, but i heard many good opinions about the quality of the conferences and the presenter.
We promote the groups here in Mexico, www.mozilla-hispano.org and the groups in Google and www.spreadfirefox.com/mexico/
We talked with teachers, some companies sysadmins that told me they use Firefox in all their computers and they think that is a very good software and they want to support in many ways to improve it.
We give a lot of stuff and with the Firefox Bag, we made a riffle, the ticket for the riffle cost $10 Pesos and was a great idea because we get $500 Pesos with the donations from the assistance, so we donate $50 dollars to Mozilla Foundation from all the assistance to FLISOL MTY, the number is 1631-2827-3508-9855
So in this event just we promoted Firefox and it was so cool, people know the brand and know the quality of software, and better than that they want to suport it !
We hope in coming event prepare more things, maybe a conference about some specific feature of Firefox and other things.
