What is the point of Affiliate ?

Hi ,
for long time before we started to Show the FireFox button in our site using spreadfirefox affiliate system and we knew that if ppl download the firefox via that link we earn point and more point means get listed in top250 with page rank 7 !!
Today i noticed that you are using Rel="nofollow" tag in those links !! so i'm wondering to know , what is the point of Affiliate for Firefox ?!!!!!!!
Any answer would be great .

Can you describe where you are finding the Rel="nofollow" tag? I'm not sure I'm seeing what you're seeing.

Yea sure .. go to the Top
Yea sure .. go to the Top 250 web page ( here ) and then in press CTRL + U to view the Source of the file ( of course in Firefox ) .
then you can see that ALL External links in that page has No Follow Tag !
Appreciate that you are at least reply and i DO really hope u will remove that TAG , then i can assure you that websites and webmaster will do THEIR BEST to get more point to get list in that page :)
