Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a version of Firefox for mobile phones?
Also, is there any kind of law against adding a Firefox .exe file to an audio CD?
I am a musician, and would put the installation file on any CD's I make at no cost.

Die Mozilla Foundation hat die Testversion 0.007 des mobilen Browsers Minimo präsentiert. Die Software setzt wie Firefox auf Features wie Tabs (Öffnen von mehreren Websites in einem Browserfenster) und soll eine Desktop-ähnliche Internet-Nutzung am Mobiltelefon ermöglichen.
"Das könnte der erste Handheld-Browser mit Tabbed Browsing und Webservice-Unterstützung sein", zeigte sich Doug Turner von der Mozilla Foundation begeistert. Minimo erlaube die Nutzung von Websites wie Gmail oder Google Maps. Die Verwendung von XUL (Extensible User Interface Language) gewährleiste eine Anpassung an verschiedene Betriebssysteme.
In den kommenden sechs Monaten will Mozilla eine Betaversion für Windows-PDAs und Windows-Smartphones veröffentlichen. Da Minimo auf der gleichen Plattform wie Firefox aufbaut, seien auch Features und Erweiterungen wie z.B. AdBlocker integrierbar. Zurzeit verhandelt Mozilla laut Branchenportal Cnet mit Handy-Herstellern über den Einsatz von Minimo
