Years to wait for 64-bit Linux Firefox?

It's going on 2 years now that I've been waiting for a 64-bit version of Firefox that runs on any 64-bit Linux.
How many more years do we have to wait for Firefox to get with the program?
The adapted versions of Firefox, called things like Iceweasel and Iceape, are terribly unreliable and crash all of the time.
Flash
Ah yes, Flash. Now that you mentionn it, that's another big problem. I actually have to run a second computer, just as good as the first one, X64 Athlon Dual-core, etc., right beside the Linux system, just to run Windoze XP so that I can see YouTube videos. (And other Flash applications.) Adobe stubbornly refuses to release 64-bit Flash and has for years.
I don't think the developers at places like Sun and Mozilla understand how they are shooting themselves in the foot. They want more people to switch to using their stuff, but then they refuse to make it possible to do so when people have the newest and best equipment. X64 dual-core isn't exactly a zero-day release now. That hardware has been out for years now. Anything that doesn't support X64 dual-core is headed for obsolescence.
I had not noticed the 64-bit problem with Java. I guess that explains all of the troubles I have had while trying to install it.
AMD should wake up and start applying pressure, or enticements, or something. It's enough to make me sorry that I bought a pair of AMD dual-core X64 Athlon computers.
Orange, good question. It's
Orange, good question. It's the same situation in Java and Flash platform in x64 Linux. The answer is: as long as developers of Sun and Adobe + Mozilla's won't interest in 64bit Linux OS's.
