APNG Project

PHUG - PHP Toronto User Group ( http://www.phug.ca ), a student run open source project, is helping contribute to the APNG project at Seneca College with help from BackSpaceStudios ( http://www.backspacestudios.com ), and Andrew Smith ( http://littlesvr.ca/apng/demo.php ).

We are currently developing, what we hope will be the official portal, for APNG's , as well as re-design the APNG editor (FF3B and Gran Paradiso extension). We also have plans to build an online custom APNG assembler. Currently Andrew Smith has been kind enough to contribute this demo http://littlesvr.ca/apng/assembler/assembler.php .

You can find more information on this project at http://www.phug.ca and http://www.backspacestudios.com

we are alway looking for contributers, apng designers, suggestions, etc...

Apng Samples.. What is possible ?

I'm looking forward to this new file format. Of all the millions of gifs around and what has been created with them it will be interesting to see what people come up with this new cool file format.. The tools still need a bit of advancement I think. What is there though works but it would be nice if it worked more intuitively. Cracks appear when you make a larger multi-frame animation.
